On our way to Luckiamute Landing National Park, we were so lucky to pass by a Pumpkin Seed Farm, in Jefferson, OR, with the tractors working. At first we had no idea what was going on.
We saw these tractors going and we assumed they were just turning the un-used/un-purchased pumpkin into mulch, however that was only a part of what was going on.
As we drove further around, we found a tractor emptying the seeds into a large truck. It was an amazing process. There was so much pumpkin mulch left over, I’m sure they till them into the ground for the next season of planting.
